Game MIDI (DOS) – U

I’ve collected these MIDI soundtracks over years all over the internet or ripped them from the games myself. I renamed all files to better organise each soundtrack and tried to match all track names to the official original soundtrack, if any exists of course. All of these should be complete. Some archives contain more versions, General MIDI, FM, MT-32 or XG and if it were possible, I also included the original ripped files. I add couple of new soundtracks every day. I’ll keep adding new ones, until I’m out of soundtracks. If you find some issues, please let me know. If you are after the specific soundtrack, let me know as well, I’ll do my best to get it for you. Have fun.

Game: UFO: Enemy Unknown / X-COM: UFO Defense (North America)
Year: 1994
Composed by: John Broomhall
MIDI versions: GM
Game: Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar
Year: 1985
Composed by: Kenneth W. Arnold
MIDI versions: GM
Game: Ultima VII: The Black Gate
Year: 1992
Composed by: Dana Karl Glover, Kirk Winterrowd, Herman Miller
MIDI versions: Adlib, MT-32, GM, GS
Additional info: Adlib and MT-32 versions are actual rips from the game. GS version is rearranged for Sound Canvases by some guy that calls himself Telavar. GS2 version is Telavar’s arrangement, but further rearranged by somebody else. I don’t know who remade the GM version.
Game: Ultima VIII: Pagan
Year: 1994
Composed by: Nenad Vugrinec
MIDI versions: GM, FM
Additional info: First half of XMI files is made for General MIDI, second half is made for FM. Two last tracks are a bit odd, they sound like a beginning of the first track but damaged, so I put them in a separate folder.
Game: Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss
Year: 1992
Composed by: David Govett, George Alistair Sanger
MIDI versions: GM, FM, MT-32
Game: Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds
Year: 1993
Composed by: Jon Blackley, Dan Schmidt
